A collaboration between brand owner Rafael Nodal and famous cigarmaker AJ Fernandez. Expertly rolled, Rare Collection utilizes some of the rarest and most well-aged tobaccos ever used in a cigar blend. What makes this cigar so rare? In this case it’s a vintage Cuban seed hybrid wrapper grown by Fernandez on his flagship farm known as La Lilia that named after his beloved grandmother. The rest of this Nicaraguan puro blend is composed of the finest aged Cuban-seed tobacco laced with some “ Pelo d’ Oro” leaves, a tobacco known for its distinctly rich flavor and powerful strength, but is very difficult to grow. The end result is a medium-to-full bodied smoke with smooth, delicious flavors of baking spices, cinnamon, earth, cocoa, and sweet cedar.
